About the Role
Seeking an Underwriting Technician for the Commercial Auto & Garage department to issue policies, process endorsements, and manage various administrative tasks related to insurance policies.
Responsibilities
- Issue new policies
- Issue Vehicle ID Cards
- Review and process endorsement requests
- Run VinAssist on new vehicles
- Order inspections
- Process Non-Payment cancellations
- Issue Certificates of Insurance
- Process Final cancellations
- Process Reinstatements
- Send out Voluntary Audit forms on expired/cancelled policies
- Send out miscellaneous letters (drivers, plates, etc.)
- Review returned paperwork (finance agreements, audits, returned mail, etc.)
- Follow up diaries for outstanding underwriting information
- EAR’S processing
- Proof of Coverage letters
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Exceptional computer and phone skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Unable to sponsor or take over work authorization sponsorship now or in the future for this position.
