About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Billing & Payments tribe, you will design and build reliable services for an Affiliate Marketing platform. You will take ownership of the full software lifecycle, balancing technical excellence with business needs while contributing to a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Work within a small, collaborative team using agile methodologies
- Take ownership of applications from design and implementation to operation
- Identify improvement opportunities and technical risks to shape technical direction
- Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Facilitate team ceremonies and workshops
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure operational stability
- Communicate effectively with local and remote stakeholders
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong foundation in OOP
- Experience with Java/Spring
- Understanding of SOLID principles
- Hands-on experience designing AWS-based systems
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and SQL
- Familiarity with non-relational databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Basic knowledge of web technologies and modern frontend frameworks like Angular
- Proven collaboration in cross-functional teams
- Extensive exposure to Scrum
- Interest in and practical use of AI tools for software development
