About the Role
As a Team Member, you will be key in making customers feel welcome and helping to create the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience. MERKUR Slots is committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive behaviour.
- Assist with any administration to 100% accuracy.
- Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are a success.
- Ensure customer service is carried out in line with company standards, resulting in customer satisfaction.
- Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate.
- Interact with customers and intervene as appropriate, logging all interactions.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation adhering to the brand dress code.
- Achieve, maintain, and impart great product knowledge to customers.
- Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
- Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers.
Requirements
- Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
- Have a passion for providing first-class service.
- Be flexible and able to work on a rota basis including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
- Experienced delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Flexible and dedicated.
