About the Role

The Diamond V - Ruminant Nutrition Regional Sales Manager - East Coast will sell directly to consumers or business purchasers, conduct face-to-face and remote sales, and assist in evaluating customer needs to suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions. This role supports the Diamond V ruminant and dairy business, focusing on natural immune support postbiotic feed additives to optimize animal health and performance.

Responsibilities

Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
Conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities.
Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of two years of work experience in sales for ruminant nutrition, animal health or related field
Experience in the dairy industry focus on ruminant nutrition optimization of animal health and animal performance
Able and willing to travel up to 75%
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Minimum of six years of sales experience
Experience with technical sales, able to provide technical support to dairies, nutritionists, and veterinarians
Sales experience in animal feed, animal health, additives and supplements
