About the Role

SEO is seeking an Assistant Director, Recruiting to lead the campus component of the overall recruiting strategy, attracting a strong and diverse pipeline of talent that aligns with program goals. This role involves developing and implementing recruiting plans, managing relationships with campus partners, and analyzing key performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the campus component of the overall recruiting strategy to attract a strong and diverse pipeline of talent.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships and Programs teams to understand program requirements and ensure recruiting strategies align with placement goals.
  • Manage strategies to publicize internship and full-time opportunities to prospective and current program participants.
  • Develop an AI/technology driven recruitment plan, identifying tools and services, designing use cases, and planning the approach to leveraging AI for sourcing candidates.
  • Analyze campus composition/geography to set individual campus strategies, targets, and assignments.
  • Develop and implement campus events strategy, including informational sessions, professional development workshops, and program-specific recruiting events.
  • Establish relationships with key leaders and campus partners to deliver recruiting initiatives and share best practices.
  • Build external partnerships with diversity, student, and industry-specific organizations.
  • Understand the business and competitive landscape to influence future recruiting strategies.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to influence data-driven decisions and share results with stakeholders.
  • Coach and manage a team to execute on campus recruiting strategy by directing, motivating, and developing the team.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture grounded in accountability, continuous learning, and mission alignment.
  • Develop team members' skills in candidate assessment, industry knowledge, and technology utilization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in service of team objectives and SEO’s mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in human resource or high-volume campus/student recruitment.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment, recruitment agency, or in higher education/career services applies.
  • Strong people management experience.
  • Flexibility to travel during peak seasons.
