About the Role
This is a developmental position designed to build experience toward a full Contract Administrator role, supporting the administration and delivery of construction contracts through inspection, documentation, compliance monitoring, and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administering construction contracts under the direction of the Contract Administrator.
- Support the review of RFIs, change orders, and contractor submissions.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with contract terms, specifications, and operational constraints.
- Assist with site inspections to verify that construction activities comply with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor contractor workmanship and adherence to OPSS, OPSD, MTO specifications, and safety regulations.
- Support equipment verification and coordinate testing activities (e.g. VMS, CCTV, NITS).
- Support analysis of contractor schedules and progress updates.
- Prepare daily inspection reports, logs, and photographic documentation.
- Maintain project records, including quantities, test results, and correspondence.
- Assist in coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support responses to technical inquiries and participate in site meetings as required.
- Document control and filing.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil or Electrical engineering.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary/Compensations
- $63,800-$79,500 per year
