About the Role
The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing retail operations, maximizing business potential, achieving financial results, and developing and retaining human capital. This role focuses on creating an authentic guest experience, ensuring a profitable business, and driving sales through innovative concepts.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive employee life cycle for all staff members.
- Ensure an authentic and visually inviting retail experience for guests.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and provide amplified service.
- Operate a financially profitable retail business.
- Grow the business using innovative sales and marketing concepts.
- Coordinate operations between departments.
- Teach, coach, and document employees who fail to meet standards.
- Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners, and investors.
- Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support and promote future business.
- Build business/market share through new promotional ideas and participation in local events.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships within the business and social community.
- Spearhead philanthropic initiatives.
- Work as a team to exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain low staff turnover and high morale.
- Operate ethically to protect the Hard Rock image.
- Utilize programs designed to help Save the Planet.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managerial success in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience, ability, and knowledge to move the business forward financially while focusing on human capital.
- Proven track record of making high-quality decisions.
- Ability to make complex decisions.
- Applicable standard of education is required.
- Managers are expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation.
- Employment requires the successful completion of pre-employment process, including two satisfactory reference checks.
