About the Role

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for our train personnel in the Berlin region. You will foster a motivating work environment, develop your team, and ensure first-class service for our passengers in collaboration with various interfaces. You will combine operational excellence with a hands-on mentality and significantly contribute to the success of our growing railway company.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for our team of up to 50 train personnel in and around Berlin.
• You create a good working atmosphere and positive team culture through regular exchange and open communication.
• As the central point of contact, you will support employees in their professional and personal development and are responsible for absence management.
• Together with the recruiting team, you will support the further expansion of the team and the successful onboarding process of new colleagues.
• With a clear focus on quality, service, and key figures, you ensure compliance with our operational standards and continuously improve the travel experience for our passengers.

Requirements

• You have completed vocational training in the railway sector or passenger transport, ideally in long-distance transport.
• You have several years of professional experience in operational railway operations, for example as a train driver, train attendant, train dispatcher, or in a comparable role.
• Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in leading or developing employees.
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English language skills for collaboration in an international environment are part of your profile.
• You are willing to travel occasionally within Germany.
• A structured and solution-oriented approach, as well as a strong hands-on mentality, characterize you.
• Communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and the joy of motivating and developing people complete your profile.
