About the Role

Join our clinic and strengthen our team at the Treatment Center for Mental Health Disorders (BHZ) as soon as possible, on a permanent basis, full-time/part-time.

Responsibilities

  • Independent planning and implementation of social pedagogical measures within the scope of station-equivalent treatment, considering the psychological and physical situation based on a multiprofessional treatment approach.
  • Support and guidance for individuals with intellectual disabilities in their home environment.
  • Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (psychologists, doctors, therapists, nursing staff).
  • Consultation and support for relatives, facility staff, and significant others.
  • Documentation and evaluation of treatment progress in the electronic patient record.
  • Participation in the development of individual support plans, such as interaction concepts.
  • Attendance at multiprofessional team meetings, helper conferences, etc.
  • Support during life and crisis situations, including crisis management.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in special education, rehabilitation, or social pedagogy, social work, or comparable qualification.
  • Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
  • Knowledge in station-equivalent treatment or willingness to be trained.
  • High social competence, empathy, and communication skills.
  • Independent and structured way of working.
  • Willingness for weekend shifts and mobile work in the home environment.
  • Driving license class B is desirable.
