About the Role

This Event and Commercial Operations Executive role supports the delivery and execution of sponsor and exhibitor contracts for Fintech Americas, ensuring seamless customer experiences while supporting revenue growth. The role focuses on enabling sales teams, optimizing customer onboarding, and driving retention through proactive engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and enhance the sales inventory to support the sales team in reaching their revenue targets.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for sponsor/exhibit clients during onboarding and throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain client resources, including the supplier database, exhibitor manual, onsite documentation, floor plans, FAQs, and health and safety & sustainability practices and onsite welcome packs.
  • Support the successful operational delivery of sponsorship agreements and execution of the exhibit floor, taking on specific projects from planning to onsite.
  • Manage branded assets, including collating requirements, placing orders, and overseeing deliveries.
  • Work with Head of Ops to ensure the commercial ops budget is managed and a healthy profit margin on all commercial items is maintained.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Coordinate with wider event ops team members to resolve any client issues efficiently.
  • Support on other core deliverables of the shows such as signage and catering.
  • Attend and support other shows within fintech and Informa festivals more widely as time and workload allow.

Requirements

  • Ideally at least 3 years working within the exhibition or conference industry.
  • Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
  • Works well within a team.
  • Self-motivated, accountable and sets own goals.
  • Efficient, pragmatic and detail-oriented.
  • Superior organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Good communication skills and great customer service.
  • Patient, calm and composed under pressure.

  • Office attendance is essential. Current pattern is 3 days a week, subject to change.
  • As this role supports shows across different time zones, alternative work hours will be required, as necessary.
