About the Role
ConnectSydney is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join their Rockdale office. This role supports the quality compliance reporting and analysis area, reporting to the Business Performance Manager. The position offers hybrid working (3 days in office) with onsite parking and a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Support compliance of contract deliverables with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant standards, including ISO 9001, by completing required quality checks and reviews.
- Apply established quality systems, processes, and procedures by using approved templates, completing documentation, and ensuring records are accurate, current, and controlled.
- Assist in the development of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, audit reports, and registers in line with document control requirements.
- Assist in delivering quality-related training.
- Develop inspection test and plans, quality management plan templates and forms for project delivery.
- Assist with the investigation of non-conformances by gathering information, recording findings, participating in root cause analysis activities, and tracking corrective and preventive actions to completion.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, coordinating evidence, attending audits, and assisting with post-audit corrective actions.
- Promote awareness of quality procedures and requirements by reinforcing expectations, sharing updates, and supporting adherence to established processes.
- Assist in the monthly reporting of the contract, including the client and board reports.
- Manage the project fundamentals tracker for all current initiatives in the business.
- Attend Senior Leadership Team weekly meetings to present updates of current projects.
- Provide support for the organization of quarterly town halls and other events.
- Support the Contract Manager as required as part of managing the overall business.
- Support the Onboarding function of the business as required (Manage the system & support the commercial/delivery teams).
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
- 3+ years’ experience in an operational or administration environment.
- Experience in managing activities of a higher complexity, including delivery of proposed solutions.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure maintenance & administration.
- Ability to support multiple work fronts and colleagues.
- Demonstrates leadership traits and self-driven initiative.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues.
- Capability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, diagnose and provide solutions to problems.
- Eagerness to continuously improve self, and enterprise.
- Enjoys working and collaborating in a team environment, but can also work on their own.
