About the Role
As the Store Manager, reporting directly to the District Manager and supported by an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a passionate team of Beauty Advisors, Studio Artists, and Department Managers to embody Sephora's values to empower our clients.
Responsibilities
- Driving a selling culture within your team to meet KPI’s and promote Sephora’s values
- Consistently raise performance and capability of the team to support developing internal talent
- Utilise and exploit data to support with operational decisions by working closely with the district manager and director of stores
- Implement a continuous improvement mentality within the team and work in partnership with the wider team
- Energise your team to deliver first class customer service within a fast-paced environment
- Creating Amazing Customer Experience. Lead your team to provide clients with meaningful in-store experiences that build brand loyalty through promoting positive behaviours to elevate client experience
- Managing Day-to-Day Store Operations. Drive operational initiatives including brand events, training, and supporting visual merchandising changes to ensure the store represents the Sephora brand and culture
- Developing Sales and Budget Strategies. Manage the profit and loss for your store including monitoring stock levels to maximise sales and profitably and identify, analyse, and forecast sales or issues
- Enhancing Our Culture. Maintain a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback and career development, coaching, learning, and recognition
- Maintaining Results. Monitor KPIs and help attract, recruit, and develop store talent
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience at a big box retailer or multi-site experience
- Passionate about excellent client service and experiential retail
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
- Hands-on leader who loves being on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and help our team members succeed
- Knack for attracting, identifying, and inspiring talented employees
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members at all levels
- Enjoy a flexible work schedule and are able to work weekends, before/after store hours, and evenings
- Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Able to provide 5 full days of availability across key trading times including late-night, weekend and public holiday trading
