About the Role

The Site Admin and Liaison Apprentice will work in our site office, supporting the engagement between construction processes and community needs. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth project completion and transparent communication, building trust with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administration duties including filing, typing memos, letters, and reports.
  • Arrange meetings and provide refreshments as required.
  • Handle telephone calls, take messages, and maintain a log of complaints/issues.
  • Upload and scan data and assist the site-surveying department.
  • Distribute letters and emails.
  • Support community engagement, newsletters, posters, and events.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager, Social Value, Resident Liaison Officers, and site team.
  • Organize and deliver community engagement sessions, outreach, and drop-in surgeries for residents.
  • Support social value objectives for the project.
  • Conduct resident surveys as required.
  • Be available and responsive.
  • Organize meetings.
  • Handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.

Requirements

  • Undertake the apprenticeship qualification and associated end-point assessment within the expected duration.
  • Complete the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship within a minimum of 12 months.
  • Achieve Level 1 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades D to G).
  • Take Level 2 (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) English and Maths tests prior to apprenticeship completion.
  • Possess good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet.
  • Demonstrate good organization and accuracy.
  • Exhibit good communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Have experience responding to customer or resident queries.
  • Show empathy and patience.
  • Possess team work skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service, office environment, or similar is desirable.
  • Be confident in using own initiative and working with minimal supervision.
  • Hold a CSCS card (desirable).
