About the Role
You’re an ambitious and capable Payroll professional responsible for end-to-end payroll processing on a monthly and weekly basis, including the interpretation of EBA's and awards, new starters and terminations, payroll tax, and SOX compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and submission of weekly and monthly pay run
- Maintain, update, and verify payroll records, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and deductions
- Investigate and resolve incoming customer queries
- SOX compliance process to ad hoc improvement projects
Requirements
- Previous payroll experience ideally in a large corporate environment in Australia
- Proven Excel ability and technologically savvy
- Experienced in running diverse and complicated pay runs that have to adhere to modern awards and EBA’s
