About the Role
Nomura is seeking a dedicated client relationship manager to serve as the primary point of contact for Australia/New Zealand clients and distribution partners. This role involves managing the client lifecycle, acting as a liaison between clients and the firm, and resolving service delivery issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated central point of contact for Australia/New Zealand clients and distribution partners.
- Work closely with Sales on all aspects of client lifecycle and client relationships.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the firm.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for clients and key internal teams on service delivery issues and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key internal departments to ensure client needs are met.
- Handle client requests and queries.
- Provide regular reporting to clients, distributors, platforms, consultants, and prospects.
- Offer effective pre- and post-sales support in collaboration with RMs, Product Specialists, and other investment stakeholders.
- Support, coordinate, and oversee the client onboarding and offboarding process.
- Liaise with legal and various parties regarding client IMAs, distribution agreements, rebate agreements, NDAs, and offer documents.
- Take proactive ownership and coordinate complex client and distributor-related queries and projects requiring input from various internal parties.
- Schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings and calls with clients alongside RMs.
- Support the RFP, RFI, and due diligence questionnaire process, coordinating with RFP teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Provide requested information and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with all relevant internal functions on client servicing efforts.
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of Client Servicing or Sales support experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong experience in key markets (Institutional & Wholesale), primarily Australia/New Zealand.
- Experience working effectively within a complex, matrixed corporate environment.
- Ability to navigate complex processes.
- Display passion and energy to support business growth.
- Possess sensitivity, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Ability to interact at all levels.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in English (Written and Spoken).
