About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager with deep domain expertise in land development and real estate to drive product decisions for an AI-native platform. This role utilizes an AI-augmented workflow to automate operational overhead, allowing focus on defining problems, making trade-off decisions, and translating customer needs into product direction. You will own product areas across Discovery, Evaluation, and Execution, collaborating with engineering, data, and AI teams to deliver impactful features.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog and roadmap for your product area(s), grounded in a deep understanding of land acquisition workflows.
• Define problems worth solving by translating customer feedback, expert insights, and market dynamics into clear problem statements with measurable success criteria.
• Make prioritization decisions balancing customer urgency, strategic value, and engineering feasibility.
• Serve as the internal authority on land acquisition processes, including zoning research, site feasibility, entitlement processes, and competitive market analysis.
• Conduct customer discovery with enterprise clients to understand workflows, not just feature requests.
• Maintain competitive awareness across mapping platforms, land data providers, and AI-enabled real estate tools.
• Write executive summaries for leadership decisions and detailed PRDs for engineering.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, AI, and data teams throughout the build cycle, resolving trade-offs and edge cases.
• Define acceptance criteria and success metrics that connect feature work to customer outcomes.
• Coordinate product area management with the Chief Product Officer and engineering, especially for shared data infrastructure and map layers.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management to translate feedback and escalations into actionable product insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in a technology company shipping production software.
• Direct domain experience in one or more of: land development, homebuilding, commercial real estate development, land brokerage, site planning, entitlements, or GIS/mapping platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and write clear, opinionated problem statements.
• Experience working with AI/ML-powered products where model capabilities and data quality are core to the user experience.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience aligning engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and making defensible decisions with incomplete data.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
