Responsibilities

  • Provide, collect, and transmit information on drug quality, efficacy, and safety through interviews or electronic tools with healthcare professionals to contribute to the appropriate use of our pharmaceuticals and the improvement of drug therapy.
  • Collect feedback and needs from healthcare professionals and coordinate with relevant internal departments.
  • Achieve optimal resource allocation through market analysis and schedule management in the assigned area.
  • Engage in information activities, divided into two roles: Customer Specialist (CS) and Product Specialist (PS).
  • CS role focuses on "Gastrointestinal and Inflammatory Diseases (IBD)", "Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases", and "Diseases treated with Plasma-derived Medicinal Products", primarily engaging with physicians, pharmacists, and nurses at core hospitals, serving as facility managers.
  • PS role focuses on "Rare Disease areas", acting as a partner to healthcare professionals treating rare blood diseases and rare genetic diseases with advanced medical and pharmaceutical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in information activities as an MR.
  • Experience in activities related to gastrointestinal and inflammatory diseases, psychiatric and neurological diseases, rare diseases, or diseases treated with plasma-derived medicinal products is desirable for Customer Specialist (CS) roles.
  • Expertise in rare blood diseases (e.g., hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, TTP, cytomegalovirus infection, essential thrombocythemia) and rare genetic diseases (e.g., hereditary angioedema, Alagille syndrome/progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC), Fabry disease, Gaucher disease) is required for Product Specialist (PS) roles.
  • MR qualification.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Business-level Japanese (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • High communication skills to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking based on fundamental sales and marketing knowledge.
  • Ability to collect and analyze various data, including digital data, with curiosity to discover insights.
  • Ability to act on insights gained from data.
  • Challenging spirit to build the future "model" for MR information activities.
