About the Role
As a Catering Coordinator, you will serve as a host and the primary liaison between the outsourced catering vendor and the organization. You will ensure high-quality food service, maintain dining area standards, and provide exceptional customer service to international employees and high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outsourced catering services to ensure food quality, menu variety, and safety.
- Review catering menus for accuracy and allergen awareness.
- Create and display food signage with accurate ingredient and allergen information.
- Inspect dining room service stations for cleanliness and restock supplies.
- Ensure food set-up is delivered on time and monitor food levels during service.
- Monitor food time and temperature according to ServSafe specifications.
- Log food and equipment temperatures daily and report to the client weekly.
- Transport utensils, glassware, plates, and food using carts.
- Set up and break down equipment for catering events.
- Monitor caterers to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of work areas.
Requirements
- Active Food Handlers Card as required by the local Health Department.
- Ability to lift 10-50 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and balancing.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience Level
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume food service operation or catering

Salary/Compensations
- $32.00 per hour
