About the Role

Nebius Group is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join our IP&IT Law team. This role is critical for conducting legal reviews, managing IP agreements, and providing expert advice on a wide range of IP-related issues, contributing to strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal reviews of license and SaaS agreements, including corporate software and software integral to core products.
• Collaborate with local and commercial lawyers to review IP terms in service and sales contracts.
• Manage IP outsourcing agreements with designers, photographers, and software developers.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on IP-related issues.
• Address open-source matters, including license analysis and compliance implementation.
• Advise business and engineering teams on IP best practices.
• Tackle other IP-related challenges as they arise.

Requirements

• A legal degree from a top-tier university in the EU or the US.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience with legal firms or technology companies.
• Exceptional contract drafting and legal writing skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience with IP-related transactions, including software development commissioning, technology licensing, and trademark issues.
