About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer with an initial emphasis on frontend development to join the Post-Investments Technology team. This individual will work closely with multiple Engineering teams to build and evolve a TypeScript-based microservice frontend that integrates with Scala and Ruby on Rails backend systems. The role is expected to contribute across the stack over time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and upkeep.
• Collaborate with multiple Backend teams working in Scala and Ruby on Rails to integrate frontend services with distributed microservice architectures.
• Contribute to API design and backend development as needed to support end-to-end feature delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Support and enhance critical, client-facing platforms and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience as a full stack engineer, with stronger depth on the frontend.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Working knowledge of backend technologies such as Scala or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience working in a microservices-based architecture.
• Able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
• Experience supporting complex, high-scale, client-facing applications.
• Familiar with document-heavy or workflow-driven user interfaces.
• Willingness to grow deeper into backend ownership over time.
