About the Role
The Drew School, a member of the Bay Area Conference, invites applications for the Boys Varsity Soccer Assistant Coach position. Drew School seeks a candidate whose experience will contribute to the School's commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. This is a temporary/seasonal position from August 10, 2026, to October 30, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize practice sessions
- Develop individual skills required to play the sport of soccer
- Develop team strategies and tactics
- Communicate with players, parents, and administration
- Drive school vehicles
- Serve as a mentor to student-athletes helping them develop academically, physically, and socially
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid California driver's license
- Fingerprinting verification
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified
- ASEP or NFHS Coaching Certification
- Must be available during after-school hours weekdays, between 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends as scheduled
- Provide a thorough list of all previous K-12 School and Educational Institution employers, including the city and state of the employer

- Drew reimburses the cost of fingerprinting for selected candidates
- Drew will coordinate ASEP or NFHS Coaching Certification for selected candidates who do not have it
