About the Role

Sales Associates are critical to the success of our stores, creating the best possible customer experience by listening to customer needs, offering recommendations, and sharing product knowledge. They also communicate the brand's sustainability initiatives and social/ethical commitments.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized shopping experiences for customers that drive brand loyalty.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
• Address customer questions accurately and respond before they leave.
• Provide exceptional service from start to finish, including effectively communicating the return policy.
• Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members.
• Promote the store and brand image in all interactions, adhering to a dress code.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both in-store and phone customers.
• Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
• Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available.
• Merchandise product in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area and employee break area.
• Practice safety-consciousness and respond to theft in accordance with policies.
• Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager in advance if late or absent.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
• Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
• Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
• Valid driver’s license.
