About the Role
Assists Floor & Servers in steps of guest service, resetting tables professionally and effectively. Interacts with guests, employees, and supervisors courteously to ensure gracious hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional appearance standards.
- Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
- Maintain general cleanliness and orderliness of tables.
- Communicate guest needs to support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
- Deliver and refill water as requested.
- Clear and reset tables, and clean table areas during service.
- Help ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
- Maintain general cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
- Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
- Properly set up floor and side stations, perform side-work and opening/closing procedures.
- Ensure tables and chairs/banquettes are clean and free of debris.
- Set tables with proper settings.
- Wipe down chairs, tables, and banquettes.
- Stock side-stations with prescribed supplies.
- Perform opening and closing side-work as prescribed.
- Participate in marking tables for upcoming courses.
- Report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
- Attend and participate in training sessions or departmental meetings.
- Learn by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge.
- Portray a positive and professional attitude.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Company, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
- Work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
Education Level
