About the Role
This role involves assisting in all aspects of architectural design, from client presentations to coordinating with the construction team, under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the architectural design process from schematic design and development to construction documents and coordination.
- Perform administrative and organizational tasks.
- Prepare graphic materials for presentations and documents.
- Create 3D models using Revit, adhering to production standards.
- Develop project details consistent with design direction and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to ensure quality control.
- Revise drawings based on technical direction and edits from project managers and architects.
- Utilize understanding of zoning ordinances, building codes, accessibility codes, and building components.
- Maintain and organize project documentation.
- Assist in construction document production and coordination.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take detailed notes during client meetings.
- Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and apply knowledge to projects.
- Maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Value project schedule and budget.
- Strong graphic and visualization skills.
- Proficient in Revit and ability to teach KWA Revit standards.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
