About the Role

Pinterest is seeking curious and versatile Web Engineers to join its Product Engineering teams. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cutting-edge web experiences for millions of users. Responsibilities

• Create and launch powerful, user-facing features for Desktop and Mobile Web.
• Contribute through all stages of product development, from prototyping to scaling solutions.
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Suggest new ideas and features to shape future product development.
• Employ automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code.
• Share expertise through mentoring, leading code reviews, and contributing to technical decisions.
• Use AI for rapid prototyping, information synthesis, documentation, and validation.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
• 5+ years of industry Web application development experience, building consumer or business facing products.
• Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code.
• Ability to stay updated with new technologies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in workflow.
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work.
• High integrity and ownership, protecting sensitive data and avoiding over-reliance on AI.
