About the Role

The Quality Manager, Nuclear is responsible for the implementation and oversight of project-specific quality assurance and quality control activities across nuclear EPC projects. This role ensures compliance with nuclear standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to support safe and reliable project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Assurance Plan.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes for project compliance.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of quality performance reports.
• Act as the primary quality representative for the project site.
• Review and disposition internal and external non-conformances.
• Support tendering and contract review activities.
• Conduct quality reviews of procurement activities.
• Participate in the evaluation, selection, and qualification of suppliers.
• Lead and support project quality personnel.
• Coordinate and facilitate project-specific audits and surveillance activities.
• Support the execution of project self-assessments and internal reviews.
• Collect and analyze quality-related data for management review.
• Collaborate with leadership to promote a strong quality culture.
• Establish and monitor project-specific quality KPIs.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance and quality control forms and templates.
• Develop and implement Construction Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to field QA/QC personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience within the nuclear industry.
• At least six years of direct experience in QA/QC roles within nuclear projects.
• Quality Management certification or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear codes and standards including CSA N286, CSA N299 series, CSA N285.0, CSA N286.7, CSA B51, CSA A23.1, CSA A23.2, CSA N291, CSA N287, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles.
• Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
