About the Role
Join The Arc Ontario as an IT Support Specialist, providing high-level hardware and software support, managing help desk requests, configuring equipment, and maintaining secure network systems to empower staff and individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and maintains computer and peripheral equipment at the main facility and off-site locations.
- Monitors and responds to internal help desk system to maintain a high level of customer service to staff and individuals.
- Makes necessary modifications to user security rights and application access due to staff position changes and terminations.
Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred and/or at least two (2) years of experience providing hardware and software support to small-to-medium sized companies.
- Staff training experience a plus.
- Experience in administration of Microsoft networking environments, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and similar applications.
- Experience with Microsoft server and VMWare virtualization environments a plus.
- CompTIA A+ and/or Network + certification desired.
