About the Role

This role supports project teams from early design through construction under the guidance of experienced architects. You will develop technical and design expertise in a collaborative environment, working primarily on Mission Critical projects with opportunities to contribute across various market sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Architect in ensuring design and technical quality
  • Collaborate with engineers and consultants using Revizto
  • Support professional service delivery per HED Design Process guidelines
  • Assist the Project Architect in directing staff and developing project delivery strategies
  • Communicate design intent through documentation with limited direction
  • Conduct code research for project assignments
  • Perform material and product research for project development
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings
  • Coordinate with project team disciplines
  • Perform submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration
  • Manage technical reviews in Revizto to meet quality and performance standards
  • Manage tasks on Concept board and track project progress
  • Assist in developing discipline work plans
  • Provide temporary coverage for Project Architect responsibilities
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (4-year) degree
  • Minimum five years of experience in the A/E industry
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Familiarity with building codes
  • Fundamental understanding of coordination requirements across design disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure
  • Commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Ability to travel to project sites for meetings and observations
  • Ability to access project sites for investigation and evaluation
  • Visual acuity to perform job responsibilities
  • Submission of work samples or portfolio
