About the Role
The Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical partner to healthcare teams, focusing on education, engagement, and adoption of Kreg Therapeutics’ Vertical Bed Technology and Bariatric Beds within ICU and trauma environments. This role leverages critical care expertise to support hospitals with new implementations and utilization of innovative technologies that enhance patient mobility, safety, and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Educate multidisciplinary clinical teams on Verticalization Therapy (VT) and its role in early mobility programs, patient safety, and improved outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical advocate for Kreg’s Bariatric Bed technology, providing education and support within strategic partner accounts.
- Support clinicians with patient identification, therapy protocols, and appropriate product utilization.
- Collaborate with ICU leadership to develop or enhance protocols, policies, and clinical criteria.
- Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting support related to Kreg products.
- Partner with Account Managers to support clinical trials, including data collection and clinician feedback.
- Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations in collaboration with sales and operations teams.
- Coordinate with local operations for bed fleet management to ensure product availability and functionality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Deliver high levels of customer service through ongoing training, education, and engagement.
- Contribute to the development of clinical education materials and resources.
- Complete required documentation and reporting in tools such as Monday.com, including expense reporting.
- Attend conferences and industry events as a subject matter expert when needed.
Requirements
- Licensed healthcare professional: Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist (RT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in a critical care or acute care clinical setting.
- Experience with invasive medical devices, early mobility programs, and safe patient handling.
- Ability to educate clinicians on new clinical practices and protocol development using evidence-based approaches.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence adoption of new technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to hospital sites, including approximately 50% local travel and up to 25% overnight travel (subject to change based on business needs).
