About the Role

Geotab is seeking a Senior Marketing AI & Systems Manager to design, build, and integrate AI tools into our marketing stack to drive growth, personalization, and efficiency. This high-impact role bridges software development and go-to-market strategy at the intersection of marketing, artificial intelligence, and technology integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and integrate AI tools directly into our marketing stack to drive growth, personalization, and efficiency.
  • Deploy production-grade systems that help the marketing organization move faster, produce better work, and drive stronger business results.
  • Own the governance, evaluation, and evolution of the marketing technology ecosystem, ensuring tools are connected, optimized, and delivering measurable value.
  • Lead the identification and prioritization of AI use cases across the marketing organization, focusing on efficiency, speed to market, and campaign performance.
  • Build multi-step automated systems that eliminate manual effort and accelerate execution, including automated campaign planning, CRM personalization, lifecycle automation, and intelligent briefing workflows.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered agents and assistants that transform simple inputs into complete channel plans, budgets, content briefs, and activation task lists.
  • Connect AI systems to Geotab's sources of truth, including brand guidelines, product documentation, case studies, campaign performance data, and CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Implement governance frameworks including citation tracking, tone validation, PII redaction, and human-in-the-loop review steps.
  • Monitor AI system performance across usage metrics, output quality, cost efficiency, and adoption rates, continuously iterating to improve reliability and value delivery.
  • Prototype and implement LLM-powered tools that support rapid content generation, A/B testing, and the creation of campaign and landing page variants at scale.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning approaches to forecast marketing trends, predict customer behavior, and surface insights that inform campaign strategy and budget allocation.
  • Rapidly prototype AI solutions and transition them into stable, scalable production environments, balancing speed of experimentation with engineering rigor.
  • Ensure all AI systems meet enterprise standards for data privacy, security, and governance throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Own the marketing technology stack strategy and roadmap, evaluating, onboarding, integrating, and optimizing martech tools.
  • Build and maintain robust integrations between platforms including CMS, DAM, marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), analytics (GA4/BI), project management (Jira), and collaboration tools (Slack/Teams).
  • Partner with third-party data providers such as Clay, ZoomInfo, and 6sense to enrich lead and account data, improving audience targeting and segmentation capabilities.
  • Ensure data flows cleanly and reliably between systems, maintaining data integrity and enabling accurate measurement across the full marketing funnel.
  • Act as the central bridge between technical AI capabilities and marketing strategy, translating complex engineering concepts into actionable approaches for marketing stakeholders and translating marketing requirements into precise technical specifications.
  • Act as a central resource and subject matter expert for campaign and segment marketers, enabling them to leverage AI tools and workflows effectively.
  • Partner with Senior Marketing Automation Manager(s) to align AI initiatives with marketing automation strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on AI-driven content discoverability initiatives.
  • Partner with Analytics and BI stakeholders to develop reporting frameworks and campaign performance insights that demonstrate the business impact of AI-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Security, and Data teams to ensure all AI systems and integrations meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the marketing organization, driving adoption of AI tools through training, documentation, and hands-on support.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on building and shipping AI, automation, or advanced analytics solutions in a B2B marketing environment.
  • Proven track record of building and deploying AI-powered tools or workflows in a production marketing context.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, demand generation principles, and how marketing technology drives pipeline growth.
  • Experience managing and integrating complex martech stacks, with hands-on knowledge of platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, GA4, and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for building and maintaining AI applications, agents, and integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of context engineering and working with LLM APIs — including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent models — to build reliable, production-grade AI systems.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • Experience working with vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate) and designing knowledge retrieval systems.
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms and workflow automation tools (e.g., Workato, Make, Zapier).
  • Comfort with front-end basics (HTML/CSS) for lightweight UI development and tooling presentation layers.
  • Understanding of enterprise security practices including OAuth, SSO, and cloud deployment standards.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing insights and clearly communicate the business impact of technical work to revenue and marketing stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills — equally comfortable explaining AI architecture to an engineer and presenting workflow improvements to a CMO.
  • Experience with third-party B2B data enrichment platforms (e.g., Clay, ZoomInfo, 6sense) and intent data strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI search optimization, answer engine optimization (AEO), and how brands can build authority and citation presence in AI-driven discovery environments.
  • Must have reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home.
