About the Role

Caregivers are the heart of our company, providing non-medical assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, and errands to clients. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, exercise, oral hygiene, and routine hair/skin care.
• Provide medication reminders as outlined in the service plan.
• Perform shopping, meal preparation, and cooking as requested.
• Complete light housekeeping of areas of the home used by the client.
• Transport clients as requested and with HR approval, ensuring driving record and insurance are on file.
• Assist with pet care as requested.
• Assist with home organization tasks as requested.
• Complete all required training for the personal attendant program.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Utilize Employment Visit Verification as instructed and in accordance with the authorized schedule.
• Report any changes in client's condition and any requests for services not assigned.
• Report any and all suspected or reported abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately to a supervisor and/or administrator.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a high school graduate enrolled in a vocational educational program.
• Must demonstrate competency of assigned tasks in person to a supervisor or through education or experience.
• Dependable transportation is required.
