Responsibilities
- Ensure all patient information is up to date and accurate.
- Schedule and prep patients appropriately.
- Ensure valid authorization is on file and obtain all relevant documentation for add-on appointments.
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to address schedule issues or changes.
- Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
- Address all email inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in radiology scheduling is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
