About the Role
Serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience within a well-respected hearing healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
- Manage provider schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
- Conduct follow-up calls for new patients, cancellations, and missed appointments.
- Facilitate daily team meetings and coordinate clinic workflow activities.
- Document appointment outcomes and update patient information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Update demographic, insurance, and medical information as needed.
- Assist with patient file organization and record maintenance.
- Collect and verify insurance information.
- Submit insurance-related requests and monitor claim status.
- Process patient payments.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities and deposit reconciliation.
- Help support patient outreach and retention initiatives.
- Participate in community events, promotions, and special clinic activities.
- Assist with patient communication campaigns and recall efforts.
- Monitor office supply levels and coordinate ordering needs.
- Support daily operational processes to ensure smooth clinic performance.
- Assist with additional administrative and clinic duties as assigned.
