About the Role

Lead the Beauty, Skincare, and Fragrance Studio at your store location, driving the strategy and execution of 1:1 paid client services. Oversee planning and delivery of in-store classes and events, and coach the Paid-Service Beauty Advisor team to ensure personalized, high-quality client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations at the Beauty, Skincare, and Fragrance Studio.
  • Ensure Beauty Advisors leverage technology innovations within services to provide an elevated in-store experience.
  • Manage the Online Reservation system, including publishing Beauty Advisor availability and classes.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to support increased services and an efficient client check-in process.
  • Manage testers and supplies.
  • Manage all in-store events with the services team to maximize client learning and sales opportunities.
  • Manage the development and certification process for Beauty Advisors.
  • Provide opportunities to elevate artistry skills.
  • Participate in performance management situations related to the Beauty Studio or direct reports.
  • Deliver and follow up on timely feedback for improvement.
  • Regularly act as Manager on Duty within the store.
  • Engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on stage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven track record of coaching a team to company expectations.
  • Passion for training, development, and education.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a history of generating business or executing events that create a meaningful connection with the community and/or clients.
  • Excellent time management skills that extend to the team's efficiency.
  • Flexibility to be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
