About the Role

As a Client Policy Analyst for Governance at Broadridge, you will join a specialized research team focusing on investor and issuer corporate governance practices, proxy voting, research, execution, data, and policy. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in the governance landscape by analyzing proxy votes and voting trends to support internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze global company filings and proxy statements to assess corporate governance and executive compensation practices.
  • Interpret client policy mandates and apply them to upcoming shareholder meetings.
  • Contribute to data management and research projects supporting governance analyses.
  • Leverage analytical tools and models to identify patterns in proxy voting and governance trends to make quantitative and qualitative assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in corporate governance is not required.
  • Curiosity, sound judgement, and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Being comfortable working with analytical tools and large data sets.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance practices in the Americas, willingness, and ability to deepen this knowledge quickly through training.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with Excel and experience working with databases.
  • Honesty and transparency are critical to our hiring process.
