About the Role

The Technical Training Curriculum Manager will assist the Director of Technical Training in organizing and managing the firm's technical curriculums. This involves liaising with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and business unit leads to ensure timely content creation, delivery, and scheduling of training courses, while also tracking participant progress and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) for the timely creation and delivery of all curriculum content.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders on professional qualification and other training courses to avoid clashes and duplication of content.
  • Liaise with service line business unit leads to ensure classes are planned at the correct time period for each office or business unit.
  • Track school leavers, graduates, and industrial placements, including qualifications and their requirements, for effective technical learning development.
  • Draft reports on the format, content, and expectations of each curriculum, including planned training hours and associated training costs.
  • Schedule all curriculum classes, including dates, office locations, format, and frequency.
  • Coordinate with the Business Services team for room booking confirmations for live events.
  • Ensure all curriculum training is appropriately reflected in the firm’s resource management system.
  • Commission the learning operations team to design, implement, and audit all technical learning in the LMS for full curriculum cohort allocations.
  • Collate and maintain a list of trained facilitators and key office/business unit contacts.
  • Keep track of facilitators needing Train the Trainer (TTT) and arrange TTT sessions.
  • Set up facilitator run-through sessions, ensuring attendance and following up as required.
  • Source and book facilitators for all sessions.
  • Develop facilitator communications to ensure technical learning is managed and delivered effectively.
  • Ensure class material for facilitators is accessible and kept up to date.
  • Ensure L&D operations team know the timetable for registering participants at the correct time.
  • Manage the technical curriculum budget and monitor costs.
  • Review and approve technical curriculum expenses.
  • Coordinate with L&D operations on attendance and date changes, and track regulation requirements.
  • Ensure the mandatory learning policy is followed for all non-attendance.
  • Coordinate with SMEs for the creation of content-based knowledge checkers.
  • Ensure L&D operations are on track with the distribution and monitoring of knowledge checkers and completion.
  • Collate feedback from participants and distribute to facilitators for performance review and self-development.
  • Analyze, summarize, and distribute participant and facilitator feedback for future development and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with the completion of reports for regulators and other key stakeholders.
  • Perform risk and contingency planning for ad-hoc issues impacting curriculum scheduling and delivery, providing suitable solutions.
