About the Role

As a Fund Operations Analyst, you will take real ownership of the operational production that keeps Moonfare's investment vehicles running, fund and investor reporting above all, within our Fund Operations Services team. This is an early-career role with a clear growth path: you will do the work today and help build the systems that do it tomorrow. You will start by taking on recurring production, learn each process end to end, and then partner with Engineering and Data to standardise and automate it, growing toward a fully trained fund operations generalist with full-lifecycle exposure, from inception to liquidation.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, validate, and distribute Moonfare's recurring investor and fund reports (quarterly reports, capital account statements), reconciling data against source documents and flagging discrepancies before anything goes out
  • Perform first-level review and reconciliation of NAVs, capital accounts, and distributions prepared by our fund administrator; support the planning and execution of fund cash flows (capital calls, distributions, transfers) under senior review, with four-eyes on every cash movement
  • Support the organisation of board meetings for investor admissions and subscriptions, and maintain accurate, timely updates across our feeder and investor databases
  • Document every process you take on, turning manual, tacit steps into clear, repeatable SOPs
  • Partner with Engineering and Data to automate recurring reporting and reconciliation, and identify process-improvement initiatives across fund operations, leveraging AI and automation tools with human-in-the-loop checkpoints on anything that feeds regulated or investor-facing output

Requirements

  • +1 years in financial services
  • Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable living in financial data and unlikely to let a discrepancy slide
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and processes simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • A genuine interest in automation and AI tooling
