About the Role

This role supports the business by ensuring all drafting projects and processes are executed efficiently and accurately through daily communication and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares drawings for retail space layouts using AutoCAD to draft 2D & 3D drawings.
• Uses 3D fixture block drawings to create standard layouts for each unique store size.
• Uses AutoCAD to draw 2D drawings of retail spaces from operator site inspection drawings and photos or occasionally built drawings, and places pre-drawn fixtures into the space per plan.
• Plans the arrangement of displays within a retail space using established criteria and rules of priority.
• Learns the assembly of store displays to create display drawings.
• Assists with determining store sizes during season.
• Assists with display assembly at local store builds.
• Works occasional overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD with at least 2 years of experience in space planning/interior design.
• Retail and Store Planning experience preferred.
• Experienced with both CAD and Revit.
• Must be able to read as-built prints.
• Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
• High sense of urgency and accountability.
• Basic computer skills, outlook, excel, and word.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced, results environment.
• Enjoys and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
