About the Role
This role exists to transform our early-stage people data setup from reactive spreadsheets to actionable insights, supporting rapid business growth and data-backed decision-making in areas like hiring, retention, compensation, and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Map, clean, and structure existing people data across approximately 20 countries.
- Coordinate across functions to maintain data quality.
- Define consistent metrics for headcount, attrition, hiring, and diversity.
- Fix data gaps in partnership with People Ops, Finance, and systems owners.
- Develop repeatable and reliable reporting, moving away from manual pulls.
- Own core dashboards for headcount, attrition, hiring, and diversity.
- Ensure data reconciliation across teams.
- Upskill the team on basic reporting and tool usage.
- Build simple, clear dashboards focused on insights for the People team and leadership.
- Utilize BI platforms for dashboard creation.
- Gather benefit data from various sources for usage and cost analysis.
- Support compensation and pay analysis.
- Propose and implement AI/tool-based solutions to automate reporting and surface insights faster.
- Improve data flows and integrations between HRIS, ATS, payroll, and other tools.
- Understand and document end-to-end people data connections.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in data, analytics, or BI.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting in a business setting.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
- Comfort with SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Python or dbt modelling.
- Comfort working in messy or evolving data environments.
- Ability to turn unclear questions into structured analysis.
- Skill in explaining data to non-data audiences.
- Ability to spot and fix inconsistencies.
- Ability to balance detail with speed, avoiding over-engineering.
- Experience with multiple systems and data sources is a plus.
- Exposure to people/HR data, compensation, or workforce analytics is a plus.
