About the Role
As Associate Director - Healthcare Estates, you will lead category management for estates, facilities, and capital spend for NHS trusts and health providers. This role involves defining category strategies, managing suppliers, and embedding sustainable commercial practices, combining client delivery, team leadership, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex healthcare estates projects, programmes, and strategic client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and value-based outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients to shape models of care, estate strategies, and business cases aligned with service, workforce, and organizational goals.
- Provide leadership in delivery, governance, risk, and quality assurance, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and specialist input.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth through opportunity identification, proposal development, and account expansion.
- Lead, coach, and develop colleagues and client teams, embodying Clarity’s values and fostering strong team performance.
Requirements
- Experience developing healthcare estate strategies aligned to service models, population need, and long-term organizational goals.
- Knowledge of healthcare estates policy, guidance, and HM Treasury Green Book business case development.
- Proven track record of leading complex change, projects, and programmes within health and care settings.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and build credibility with senior clients.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical, evidence-based solutions to complex estate challenges.
- Experience leading teams, managing delivery, and supporting the development of others.
