About the Role

Join one of our squads to support Lightspeed’s Hospitality product group in expanding our reach into new markets and enhancing our advanced hospitality commerce platform. You will contribute to the L&G series products, powering hospitality businesses across Europe and helping them deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your work will directly shape the daily experience of business owners and hospitality guests.

Responsibilities

Build new features and improve the developer experience for the L&G series product.
Create and ship beautiful, elegant, and functional web applications.
Report to the Development Manager and interact with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Teams.
Participate in daily agile ceremonies, brainstorm innovative ideas, and implement solutions.
Advocate for high code quality and ownership while contributing to infrastructure health.
Share knowledge and best practices to elevate the team and drive improvement.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS.
Knowledge of React.js or similar technologies.
Ability to navigate multiple codebases with diverse frontend technologies (jQuery, Angular, React, etc.).
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions.
Familiarity with writing unit & e2e tests and ensuring high coding standards.
English communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complexity.
Critical thinking abilities.
Strong will to learn, grow, and step out of your comfort zone.
High energy and passion for technology.
