About the Role
Moneris is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Director, Product Partnerships to lead the strategy, management, and growth of its ecosystem of strategic product partners. This role is accountable for maximizing the value of the partner portfolio across product enablement, commercial performance, cost optimization, and new revenue opportunities, while leading a team responsible for the full partner lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product partnership strategy aligned with company growth priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships that expand product capabilities, distribution channels, and customer value.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including contract structuring, business case development, and executive recommendations.
- Own the commercial performance of partnerships, including revenue growth, cost optimization, contractual outcomes, and strategic alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial terms and increase value from partner relationships.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance to enable successful partner execution.
- Establish KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks to monitor performance and inform executive decision-making.
- Lead and develop a team across relationship management, business development, and partnership analytics.
- Set performance expectations, operating rhythms, and development plans aligned to business objectives.
- Foster a high-performing, commercially focused team culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, product management, strategy, consulting, or related commercial leadership roles.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leadership of managers and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing executive-level partner relationships.
- Financial acumen, including business case development, pricing models, P&L drivers, and cost optimization.
- Experience translating strategy into execution plans with measurable business outcomes.
