About the Role
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will serve as the market and business leader for a strategic growth segment within the consumer electronics business area. You will act as the Voice of the Customer to identify emerging market opportunities, define future product investments, influence technology roadmaps, and drive revenue growth and customer adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and development of new growth opportunities by translating market insights into actionable product and technology strategies.
- Own the process from market opportunity identification through Material Requirements Document (MRD) development and Product Development Program (PDP) approval.
- Leverage customer engagement, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to define product requirements, use cases, and business cases.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to align product roadmaps and long-term growth objectives.
- Drive segment business performance through revenue growth, design-win expansion, and market share growth.
- Develop and execute segment growth strategies in partnership with regional Sales teams.
- Monitor segment performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to ensure growth targets are met.
- Serve as the primary bridge between customers, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Applications, and Marketing teams.
- Develop relationships with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to accelerate adoption.
- Support product commercialization activities including launch planning, sales enablement, and ecosystem readiness.
- Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS, or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of industry experience in semiconductors, wireless connectivity, embedded systems, IoT, consumer electronics, or industrial technology.
- 5+ years in business development, product marketing, product management, or strategic marketing.
- Demonstrated experience developing market requirements, business cases, strategic product plans, MRDs, or product investment proposals.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, semiconductors, wireless connectivity technologies, and ecosystem dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to grow innovative products and businesses in rapidly evolving markets.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience performing market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and investment prioritization.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience initiating or authoring MRDs, PRDs, or equivalent product planning artifacts.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships.
- Experience with business planning, revenue forecasting, and innovation management using AI tools and advanced analytics.
