About the Role

As a Financial Consultant, you are responsible for the financial oversight and governance of the company’s Global IT spend, providing high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support to senior stakeholders. You will work closely with business partners to ensure budget alignment, track planned versus actual cost consumption, and maintain transparency across financial performance and cost drivers. This role includes coordinating financial reporting, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and acting as a trusted financial partner to ensure disciplined and efficient resource utilization in line with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present high-quality financial reports for business development and KPI-based performance tracking for IT and Business Stakeholders.
Analyze monthly costs and investments, developing recommendations for management.
Provide proactive support for company-wide initiatives and act as the main contact person.
Organize and align reporting processes while tracking operational budgets and consolidated Opex and Capex.
Provide positive financial impulses to the business and identify potential pitfalls.
Strategically advise stakeholders on organizational goals against pre-aligned initiatives.
Take initiatives to enable efficient streamlining of processes and Ad-Hoc requests.
Ongoing development of Controlling IT systems to optimize analysis, planning, and management information systems.
Provide valuable ad-hoc analyses upon request.

Requirements

University degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar (e.g. B.Sc. / M.Sc.).
At least 10+ years of working experience within a senior controlling and/or finance role in a large matrix-organization or similar.
Knowledge of SAP environment is an asset.
Working knowledge of IT Management tools (such as ServiceWare) is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Proactive result-oriented team-player with the ability to work independently and is self-motivated.
Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
German language skills are an advantage.
