About the Role
This role focuses on developing a well-trained sales staff to meet or exceed sales quotas, increase market share, and expand the customer base while maintaining high ethical standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed established location sales quotas
- Ensure Sales Counselors utilize training methods and follow company policies
- Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to staff
- Manage Sales Counselors regarding aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, and closing skills
- Develop marketing programs tailored to community demographics and geography
- Analyze competitor pricing
- Plan and participate in community events to develop prospects
- Review pre-need and at-need contracts for legal compliance
- Approve customer discounts
- Prepare reports demonstrating compliance with financial controls
- Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, and sales equipment
- Ensure sales programs and incentives conform to company policies
- Maintain sales rooms and offices in a professional manner
- Ensure staff adherence to the Code of Conduct and licensure requirements
- Ensure sales practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state/province driver’s license with a good driving record
- Insurance license as required by state/province law
- Working knowledge of Windows-based PC environment and MS Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work beyond standard business hours when necessary

- $89,800 to $149,500 earnings potential
