About the Role
The Trade Desk is seeking a senior product leader to define and transform how customers interact with their data through redesigned reporting experiences. This high-visibility role involves building world-class data products at internet scale, with a focus on innovation in AI-powered interfaces and data collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the multi-year product strategy for TTD's reporting experiences, including data exploration, visualization, delivery, proactive insights, and AI-powered interfaces.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities in data delivery, AI-assisted analysis, and data collaboration.
- Set strategic direction for reporting, leveraging platform advantages in data transparency and openness.
- Define TTD's approach to AI-native reporting interfaces, including natural language querying and automated insights.
- Build business cases for reporting investments and influence executive decision-making.
- Own end-to-end product vision for TTD's reporting infrastructure, including data exploration, visualization, APIs, and data delivery.
- Define product strategy for reporting experiences at internet scale, ensuring technical ambition and product judgment.
- Define requirements for data pipelines, query performance, API design, and semantic data models.
- Partner with engineering and data science on platform architecture decisions for reporting infrastructure.
- Lead product strategy for data collaboration capabilities, including data sharing and integrations.
- Lead and align senior stakeholders on the reporting roadmap and dependencies.
- Act as a force multiplier for commercial teams, enabling solutions, business development, and partnerships.
- Partner with marketing and GTM teams on positioning, packaging, and rollout of new reporting capabilities.
- Champion data quality and trust as foundational product requirements.
- Cultivate a continuous external feedback loop with customers, agencies, and partners.
- Represent TTD externally as a product authority on advertising data, reporting, and analytics.
- Shape the future of data collaboration in the programmatic ecosystem, enabling privacy-first data sharing and clean room integrations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience building products at scale, ideally in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or a data-intensive B2B SaaS environment.
- Deep familiarity with the campaign lifecycle, including planning, launch, monitoring, optimization, and reporting.
- Strong track record building data products such as query and reporting tools, dashboards, APIs, or insights surfaces.
- Treat data as a product, bringing PM-level rigor to data structure, definition, and delivery.
- Champion data quality, consistency, and trust as foundational requirements.
- Technical fluency to engage credibly on systems architecture, data pipeline design, API design, semantic data models, query performance, and latency tradeoffs.
- Exceptional product taste and judgment, holding a high bar for quality of execution and user experience.
- User empathy, demonstrated through customer interaction and product dogfooding.
- Bias toward shipping, with urgency and the ability to cut scope without cutting value.
- High agency and accountability for solving complete problems end-to-end.
- Commercial instincts, understanding how to connect product investments to business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Durability and grit to find creative solutions and iterate through challenges.
