About the Role
Production Coordinators are central to visual effects project management, working closely with VFX Producers and Line Producers to assist artists and facilitate pipeline workflows. They play a key role in project delivery by implementing task schedules and targets.
Responsibilities
- Receive and implement weekly targets set by the Line Producer and VFX Producer
- Arrange, attend, and manage briefing meetings and turnovers with VFX Supervisors and artists
- Ensure all briefing notes are shared
- Provide artists with clarity on their schedules
- Accompany supervisors and leads during daily rounds to communicate feedback, updated briefs, and schedule dependencies
- Monitor artist activity and report progress to the Line Producer or Producer
- Organize, run, and take notes for dailies and client reviews
- Maintain asset and shot status and track artist progress against schedules
- Update and maintain the production database to reflect current show status
- Keep supervisors and artists informed of client notes, shot changes, and brief changes
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Production Assistant role or similar
- Excellent understanding of the VFX production process from concept to completion
- Familiarity with post-production pipelines, techniques, and software
- Current and full work permit for the region of employment
