About the Role

This position provides leadership and management for the AMEND Together violence prevention program, focusing on engaging young men and boys to end violence against women in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate AMEND Together Clubs for male participants.
  • Support the expansion of AMEND Together Clubs.
  • Coordinate with the leadership team to document and report grant-related outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to align campaign materials with program content.
  • Engage with community ambassadors.
  • Manage project plans for product development.
  • Develop and maintain operational standards and procedures.
  • Review and provide feedback on program products.
  • Participate in YWCA-sponsored community events.
  • Engage in coalitions related to community education and the organizational mission.
  • Complete documentation for services and activities.
  • Represent YWCA Mohawk Valley professionally.
  • Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Education, Organizational Development, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in youth development, facilitation, or management.
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge relevant to the position.
