About the Role

Join a boutique plaintiff's firm dedicated to tenants' rights, where you'll fight for the underdog and make a real difference by representing residential tenants in wrongful and constructive eviction lawsuits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage caseload from start to finish.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
  • Handle law and motion work.
  • Participate in trial preparation and second-chair trials.
  • Take on first-chair trial opportunities as you grow.

Requirements

  • California Bar Membership in good standing.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in California.
  • Experience with depositions, law and motion work, and case management.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese (bonus).
  • Experience with landlord/tenant law or plaintiff-side litigation (bonus).
  • Demonstrated interest in public interest law (bonus).
