About the Role

Join our growing team as a Citrix Engineer and contribute to delivering high-performance, secure, and scalable end-user computing environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-grade Citrix platforms, supporting critical infrastructure and enabling seamless digital workspaces across the organisation. You will work in a collaborative and technically strong environment, contributing to both operational support and engineering initiatives across Citrix technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Citrix environments including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
• Administer, support, and troubleshoot enterprise Citrix platforms (XenApp/XenDesktop, StoreFront, Workspace)
• Manage and maintain Citrix ADC (NetScaler) including load balancing, SSL VPN, and secure access configurations
• Design, implement, and optimize VDI environments ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of Citrix infrastructure
• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Citrix Director and monitoring platforms

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Citrix administration and engineering (5+ years preferred)
• Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD)
• Proven experience with Citrix ADC / NetScaler
• Proven experience with StoreFront, Director, Workspace
• Expertise in VDI architecture, deployment, and performance optimisation
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and/or MCS
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, network, and infrastructure layers
• Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Knowledge of security best practices (SSL, MFA, secure gateways)
• Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Full Australian working rights required
